Building with Bio-based Materials
A Greener Space Builds
…is a different kind of Developer.
A Greener Space Builds was founded to challenge the industry’s reliance on carbon-intensive construction by pioneering methods and market opportunities where conventional firms lack the agility to act. While others shy away from bio-based and mineral-based materials, we intentionally embrace them.
We aren't waiting for the industry to change; we are building the evidence to change the industry.
Our mission is to remove biases and prove that regenerative practices, low-carbon innovation and earth-based materials are premium architectural approaches. By merging design excellence with a drive for business viability, we want to reposition bio-based and mineral-based materials from “alternative" and “niche” to high-end, scalable, citable projects.
Functioning as a Living Lab, our projects are designed to test, capture and share critical performance data to help fill knowledge gaps that have slowed the uptick of bio-based building.
We also operate on a model of financial independence. We are not a charity or non-profit. Built on a foundation of capital independence, the company leverages cross-sector revenue streams—including professional training tuition and portfolio leasing—to establish a scalable, self-funding blueprint for sustainable infrastructures.
We are here to elevate and broadly expand the adoption of bio-based materials, foster demand for new manufacturing, and provide a blueprint for scalable development models.
At A Greener Space Builds, we are pioneering the path, proving the materials and reimagining the built environment.
Global Collaboration & Local Context
We believe the transition to a regenerative built environment cannot be achieved in isolation. A Greener Space Builds operates as a global "brain trust," working collaboratively with international experts in life cycle analysis, dynamic carbon accounting, and energy modeling. By integrating this high-level technical expertise with local artisans and regional wisdom, we ensure that every project is a sophisticated response to its specific ecosystem.
Our commitment to the circular economy begins with the community. In every build, we prioritize a “train-the-trainer” model through structured apprenticeships, ensuring local residents gain the practical, technical experience needed to lead future bio-based projects.
By elevating local labor and honoring indigenous knowledge, we foster an equitable economic ecosystem that preserves both the land and its culture. Together, we are building a scalable movement that respects regional context while advancing global standards for restorative architecture.
